Background on Battleship Game
Battleship game is quite an old game dating back to World War 1 days. Clifford Von Wickler was credited with inventing the game in the early 1900s in a pencil and paper format, but it was the Milton Bradley Company that popularized the game in 1931.

The game involves 2 people placing their battleships so that the other person does not find them. Then each person guesses where each battleship is located on the other persons grid in order to sink the ship. Location is determined by a horizontal number and vertical letter. Each player has various ships that have different lengths including an aircraft carrier, battleship, destroyer, submarine, and patrol boat. Sink all the ships and you win.
Instructions are fairly simple. In this version of the game,
your battleships are randomly placed within a 16 x 16 grid.
Just click any square within the "Computer's Fleet" grid that
you think may contain one of your opponent's battleships. The
player and the computer will alternate in picking a square to sink each
other's battleship.
